Adopting a New Pet

You can grow your pet family by adopting new GoPets. Remember that a larger family of GoPets will mean more mouths to feed and more GoPets to keep happy! All the pets in your family that are the same type can share clothing and accessories, but animals of different types cannot share these items.

How to adopt a GoPet:

Left-click an empty Pet Portrait on the Main Menu, then click “Yes” on the Adopt Pet dialog.
OR
Purchase an Adoption Certificate from Shopping mall and double-click the Adoption Certificate icon in your Inventory
(remember that you can send Adoption Certificates as gifts, just like any other item).

Managing Multiple Pets

If you have more than one GoPet, a few special controls help you to control and keep track of your pet family.

The Main Menu Pet Portraits

To issue a command to a specific GoPet, right-click on its portrait on the Main Menu. This deploys a right-click menu that offers specific commands for that GoPet only.

The Choose Pet Dialog

In any situation in which accessing a dialog, function, or item requires the selection of a specific pet, you will be shown the Choose Pet dialog. For example, when you click on the “Equip Pet” button on the Inventory, the Choose Pet dialog automatically deploys. When this dialog appears, simply left-click the desired portrait to apply an action to a specific pet.
